My name is JJ and as the descriptive text in the header indicates, this blog will be devoted to the exploration and examination of my 25+ year passion for role-playing games (RPGs). I plan to start at the beginning with my introduction to RPGs by way of Dungeons & Dragons and hope to follow the timeline up through today. Along the way I'll share the games I've played and those I'm currently playing, resources I'm using and lessons I've learned from role-playing. I hope to make this a blog accessible for both the veteran and novice gamer.
While this may sound one-sided, I welcome and encourage dialog on any of the topics covered in this blog. I am not, nor will I ever claim to be the end-all, be-all authority on RPGs. Even after 30 years I am still learning new things about this hobby. It is only through open discourse and dialogue that ideas can be shared and understanding gained.
